Get to know the Foundation

The Henry L. Mitchell Elementary Foundation (the Foundation) was established as a not-for-profit organization in 2004 to develop a long-range improvement plan for our school. The Foundation is led by parent volunteers, who are elected to serve on the Foundation Board. Partnering with the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), the school administration, and the District, the Foundation invests in the education experience of our students through the funding of capital improvement projects and education programs, both core and enrichment.
